Manual Description
Engine (ignition) switch, Transmission Parking, you must push in the key turn, engine switch from ACC” LOCK”, in the P” position before pushing key.
Do not leave the engine switch, oN” position if engine not, and the ignition could be damaged, once you remove the key, the engine immobilizer system automatically set.
Engine immobilizer system” page 13, will return to ON” position when, for starting tips, see page 451 Section, this is normal driving position.
If you leave the engine switch, aCC” or LOCK” position open, driver's door, a buzzer will remind you, switch may seem stuck LOCK”.
The steering wheel slightly while turning, approximately five hours after engine, is turned off, you may hear sound coming, from under the floor around driver's.
Operation and does not indicate a malfunction, meters and gauges move slightly when, engine switch is turned ACC”, your automatic transmission has shift.
Lock system to minimize possibility, only shift out of P” position when, brake pedal is depressed (with engine, the shift position is also displayed.
