Pull the hood lock release lever, the hood will pop up slightly, pull up auxiliary catch lever, hold the hood open by inserting.
The support rod into slot, check that the hood is fully closed locked, and cause an accident, which may result in death serious injury, after installing the support rod into slot.
Make sure the rod supports the hood securely preventing it falling, down onto your head body, be sure to return the support rod to its clip before closing hood, the hood with the support rod not clipped could cause hood bend.
When using a floor jack, follow the instructions manual, provided with the jack and perform operation safely, when raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position the jack correctly, with the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check oil.
Park the vehicle on level ground, and turning it off, wait more than 5 minutes for oil drain, back into the bottom engine, holding a rag under the end, pull dipstick out.
Holding a rag under end, wipe the dipstick reinsert it fully, the same type as that already engine.
