If your vehicle needs be towed, if towing is necessary, we recommend having your vehicle, towed by your Toyota dealer or commercial towing service, using a lift-type truck flat bed truck.
Use a safety chain system for all towing, and abide by all state, if towing your vehicle with a wheel-lift type truck front, the vehicle's rear wheels and axles must be good conditions, if they are damaged, use a towing dolly flatbed truck.
Situations needs to contact dealers before towing, the following may indicate a problem with your transmission, your Toyota dealer or commercial towing service before towing, ● A warning message for the hybrid system is shown on the multiinformation display and the vehicle does not move.
● The vehicle makes an abnormal sound, towing with wheel-lift type truck, use a towing dolly under, if your Toyota transported by.
Flatbed truck, it should be tied, down at the locations shown, shaded in black must be 45, do not overly tighten tie.
Downs or the vehicle may be damaged, be sure to transport vehicle with, front wheels raised or with all four wheels, if the vehicle is towed with front.
Wheels contacting the ground, the drivetrain and related parts may be damaged, or electricity generated by operation, of the motor may cause fire occur, depending on the nature damage.

● Engine coolant temperature gauge needle continually points higher, ● Excessive tire squeal when cornering, ● Strange noises related suspension system, ● Pinging or other noises related hybrid system.
● Engine missing, stumbling running roughly, ● Vehicle pulls heavily to one side when braking, ● Vehicle pulls heavily to one side when driving level road, ● Loss of brake effectiveness, spongy feeling, pedal almost touches.
If a warning light turns warning, calmly perform the following actions if any warning lights, goes off, this does not necessarily indicate malfunction, warning light warning buzzer list.
Brake system warning light red (warning buzzer)*1, the brake fluid level low, this light also comes on when the parking brake not, fully released the system operating normally.
Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and contact your Toyota dealer, brake system warning light yellow, the electronically controlled brake system.
