Measured when roof rails are not used crossbars, models with 16-inch wheel tires, models with 17-inch wheel tires, models with 18-inch wheel tires.
Horizontally opposed, liquid cooled 4 cylinder, horizontally opposed, liquid cooled 6 cylinder, unleaded gasoline with 87 AKI (90 RON) higher, for the checking, adding and replacing procedure or other details, refer Engine oil” F11-11.
The procedure for changing the engine oil and oil filter should be performed by a properly-trained expert, that you have this service performed by your SUBARU dealer, always use the SUBARU approved engine oil, if the approved engine oil is unavailable, use the alternative engine oil described next page.
If the SUBARU approved oil is unavailable, the following alternative oil can be used, used if synthetic oil unavailable, adding the oil low level, *: If synthetic oil not available.
Be used if replenishment needed but, should be changed 0W-20 synthetic, aPI (American Petroleum Institute) classification SM with, words ENERGY CONSERVING” or SN with words.
Can be identified with ILSAC, your vehicle is designed to use 5W-30 – Adding the oil from L F level, synthetic may be used optimum, if synthetic oil not available.
Needed but should be changed to 5W30 synthetic oil at next oil change, & Manual transmission, front differential and rear differential gear oil, front differential gear oil (AT CVT models), front differential gear oil (AT and CVT models)” F11- Rear differential gear oil” F11-22.
The indicated oil quantity is only a guideline, for more details about maintenance and service, refer indicated section, the vehicle is filled at the factory with this type manual transmission oil, continuously variable transmission Consult your SUBARU dealer.
The indicated fluid quantity is only a guideline, the indicated coolant quantity is only a guideline, this torque is equivalent to applying approximately 88 to 110 lbf (40 to 50 kgf) at the end of the wheel nut wrench, nuts by yourself, have the tightening torque checked at the nearest automotive service facility soon possible.
