Manual Description
Seat belts can only provide optimal protection when seat backrests are in an upright position and the vehicle occupants are wearing their seat belts correctly. If a brake circuit fails, the brake pedal must be pressed down thoroughly in order to stop the vehicle. During sudden manoeuvres or accidents, loose objects can be thrown forward, injuring vehicle occupants or passers-by.

Properly worn seat belts can reduce severe injuries in case of sudden braking manoeuvres or accidents. Like all other vehicle occupants, these people can also sustain severe injuries if they are not wearing their seat belts properly. When a seat belt in the rear seats is fastened or unfastened, the seat belt status is displayed for approx.

The seat belt status flashes for a maximum of 30 seconds when a seat belt in the rear seats is unfastened while the vehicle is in motion. The higher the speed and the are not wearing seat greater the weight, the more energy there is to be released in an accident. If the speed doubles from 25 km/h (15 mph) to 50 km/h (30 mph), for example, the kinetic energy is multiplied by four.
