Manual Description
(SRS) "AIR BAG" and "SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER" 2, eVAP CANISTER VENT CONTROL VALVE 15, eVAP CONTROL SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR 16, fUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT, FUEL FILTER.

Precaution for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) "AIR BAG" "SEAT BELT, the Supplemental Restraint System such as AIR BAG” and SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER”, used along, with a front seat belt, helps to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and front passenger certain, system uses the seat belt switches to determine the front air bag deployment, and may only deploy one front.

Air bag, depending on the severity of a collision and whether the front occupants belted unbelted, information necessary to service the system safely is included in the SR and SB section Service Manual, to avoid rendering the SRS inoperative, which could increase the risk of personal injury death, the event of a collision which would result in air bag inflation, all maintenance must be performed by.

Improper maintenance, including incorrect removal and installation of the SRS, can lead personal, injury caused by unintentional activation of the system, pRECAUTIONS WHEN USING POWER TOOLS (AIR OR ELECTRIC) AND HAMMERS, when working near the Airbag Diagnosis Sensor Unit or other Airbag System sensors with the Ignition ON or engine running, DO NOT use air or electric power tools or strike near sensor(s) with.

When using air or electric power tools or hammers, always switch the Ignition OFF, disconnect, battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before performing any service, when replacing fuel line parts, be sure observe following, put a CAUTION: FLAMMABLE” sign workshop.

Be sure to work in a well ventilated area and furnish workshop with CO2 fire extinguisher, never smoke while servicing fuel system, use gasoline required by the regulations for octane number, before removing fuel line parts, perform following procedures.

- Put drained fuel in an explosion-proof container and put the lid on securely, - Release fuel pressure from the fuel lines, - Disconnect the battery cable negative terminal, always replace O-ring and clamps with new ones.

Never kink or twist tubes when they being installed, never tighten hose clamps excessively avoid damaging hoses, after installing tubes, check there is no fuel leakage at connections following steps, - Apply fuel pressure to fuel lines with turning ignition switch ON” (with engine stopped).

- Start engine and rev it up and check for fuel leakage connections, use only a genuine NISSAN fuel filler cap as a replacement, for servicing EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM” parts, refer EC-39, "EVAPORATIVE EMISSION, the actual shapes of Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of special tools illustrated here.

Inspect fuel lines, fuel filler cap, and fuel tank for improper attachment, leakage, cracks, damage, loose connections, chafing deterioration, if necessary, repair replace damaged parts, after connecting fuel tube quick connectors, check quick connectors secure, ensure that connector and resin tube never contact any adjacent parts.

FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT, FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY, fuel level sensor unit, fuel filter, be sure to read General Precautions” before working on the fuel system, release the fuel pressure from the fuel lines.

Check fuel level with vehicle on a level surface, draw appropriate amount of fuel fuel tank, : Draw approximately 10 liters (2-5/8 US gal, 2-1/4 Imp gal) full-tank condition, filler opening to draw approximately 10 liters (2-5/8 US gal, 2-1/4 Imp gal) fuel.

Open fuel filler cap and release the pressure inside fuel tank, remove the quick connector follows, hold the sides of the connector, push in tabs (B) pull (A), several times until they start to move.

Keep the resin tube away from heat, prevent acid liquid such as battery electrolyte, etc, only when the tube is replaced, remove the remaining retainer on the tube fuel level sensor.
