Manual Description
COIL SPRING AND SHOCK ABSORBER 10, uPPER RUBBER SEAT AND BUSHING 10, tORSION BEAM, LATERAL LINK AND CONTROL, sERVICE DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS (SDS) 13.

When installing each rubber part, final tightening must be, carried out under unladen condition* with tires ground, oil will shorten the life of rubber bushings, *: Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full.

Hand tools and mats designated positions, use flare nut wrench when removing installing brake, after installing removed suspension parts, check wheel, always torque brake lines when installing.

Lock nuts are unreusable parts; always use new ones, when replacing, do not wipe the oil off of the new lock nut before tightening, nOISE, VIBRATION, AND HARSHNESS (NVH) TROUBLESHOOTING, refer to ROAD WHEEL chart.

Shock absorber deformation, damage deflection, use the following chart to help you find the cause of the symptom, check axle and suspension parts for excessive play, wear damage, shake each rear wheel to check excessive play.

Retighten all nuts and bolts specified torque, check shock absorber for oil leakage other damage, before checking rear wheel alignment, be sure to make preliminary inspection (Unladen*), check tires for wear improper inflation.

Check wheels for deformation, cracks and other damage, remove tire from wheel and mount wheel on tire balance machine, check front wheel bearings looseness, check that front shock absorbers work properly.

Q *: Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full, camber is preset at factory cannot be adjusted, : Refer to RSU-13, "Rear Wheel Alignment, measure camber of both right-hand and left-hand wheels with.

Damaged or worn rear suspension parts, toe-in is preset at factory cannot be adjusted, inspect and replace any damaged or worn rear suspension parts, always perform the following procedure flat surface.

Make sure that no person is in front vehicle before, put a mark on base line of the tread (rear side) both tires, the same height of hub center, push the vehicle slowly ahead to rotate wheels 180 degrees.

If the wheels have rotated more than 180 degrees (1/2 turn), try the above procedure again beginning, before removing the rear suspension assembly, disconnect, the ABS wheel sensor from the assembly.

May result in damaged sensor wires sensor becoming, drain brake fluid before disconnecting brake lines, calipers and remove brake calipers and rotors, disconnect ABS wheel sensor, equipped.

Using a transmission jack, raise torsion beam little, remove nuts and bolts from the trailing arms, shock absorber, assemblies (lower side) lateral link, lower transmission jack remove suspension.

Remove shock absorber fixing nuts (upper side), refill with new brake fluid DOT 3, using a transmission jack, place lateral link and control rod horizontally against torsion beam.
