Shake each front wheel to check excessive play, make sure that cotter pin inserted, retighten all axle and suspension nuts and bolts specified, check strut (shock absorber) for oil leakage other damage.

Vehicle must be unladen*, parked on a level surface, tires, checked for proper inflation and wear (tread wear indicator must, tools and mats designated positions, bounce vehicle up and down several times before measuring.

Check suspension ball joint end play, jack up front of vehicle set stands, clamp dial indicator onto transverse link place indicator tip, on lower edge brake caliper.

Make sure front wheels are straight brake pedal, place a pry bar between transverse link and inner rim road, while raising and releasing pry bar, observe maximum dial indicator value, if ball joint movement is beyond specifications, remove replace it.

Before checking front wheel alignment, be sure to make preliminary inspection (unladen*), check tires for wear improper inflation, check wheels for deformation, cracks other damage, if deformed, remove wheel check wheel runout.

Remove tire from wheel and mount wheel tire balance, set dial indicator as shown illustration, check front wheel bearings looseness, check that front shock absorbers work properly.

Q *: Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full, camber, caster and kingpin inclination are preset factory, left wheels with suitable alignment gauge, if camber, caster or kingpin inclination not within specification.

Measure toe-in using following procedure, always perform the following procedure flat surface, make sure that no person is in front vehicle before.
