OIL LEAKAGE AND OIL LEVEL 10, gEAR, WASHER, SHAFT AND CASE 56, sERVICE DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS (SDS) 60, clearance Between Baulk Ring Gear 61.
INPUT GEAR REAR C-RING 62, available Shims — Differential Side Bearing Preload Adjusting Shim 65, oIL LEAKAGE AND OIL LEVEL 73, removal and Installation Control Device.
REVERSE IDLER SHAFT AND GEARS 117, sERVICE DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS (SDS) 122, clearance Between Baulk Ring Gear 123, 6TH & REVERSE BAULK RING.
REVERSE IDLER GEAR ADJUSTING SHIM 126, mAIN GEAR ADJUSTING SHIM 126, available Shims – Differential Side Bearing Preload, do not reuse transaxle oil, once it has been drained.
Check oil level or replace oil with vehicle level ground, during removal or installation, keep inside of transaxle clear dust dirt, check for the correct installation status prior to removal or disassembly, certain they do not interfere with the function of the parts they applied to.
In principle, tighten bolts or nuts gradually in several steps working diagonally from inside outside, tightening sequence specified, use it, be careful not to damage sliding surfaces mating surfaces, the actual shapes of the Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of the special service tools illustrated here.
Measuring turning torque final drive assembly, measuring clearance between side gear, removing gear, 5th gear bush, removing & 2nd synchronizer hub, 1st.
Removing and installing differential side bearing, removing input shaft front rear bearing, installing input shaft front rear bearing, installing input gear, 3rd main gear.
Installing & 2nd, 3rd & 4th 5th & Rev, installing gear bush, 5th gear bush, Rev, removing idler gear bearing outer race, installing differential side bearing outer race.
Installing & Rev synchronizer hub, installing & 4th synchronizer hub, installing differential side bearing inner race, nOISE, VIBRATION, AND HARSHNESS (NVH) TROUBLESHOOTING.
Hard to shift will not shift, check Plug Return Spring and Check Ball (Worn damaged), use the chart below to help you find the cause of the symptom, double-cone synchronizer is used for 1st and 2nd gears reduce.
Start the engine and let it run to warm up transaxle, specified limit near filler plug mounting hole shown, : API Viscosity SAE 75W-85, after refilling oil, check oil level shown.
Install the filler plug in the transaxle case using new gasket, check that oil is not leaking transaxle, check oil level from filler plug mounting hole shown, never start the engine while checking oil level.
Remove drain plug and drain the oil from transaxle, remove differential oil seal using Tool, install differential oil seal with suitable tool (drift).
