Precautions For Xenon Headlamp Service 233, refer to HAC-105, "Diagnosis Chart By Symptom", interview the customer to obtain as much information as possible about the conditions environment under, verify the symptom with operational check based on the information obtained from customer.
Using CONSULT-III, perform SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS” of HVAC, perform symptom diagnosis and narrow down the malfunctioning parts, if DTC is displayed, erase DTC after repairing replacing malfunctioning parts, check that the A/C system operates normally.
The purpose of the operational check is to check that the individual system operates normally, : Engine running normal operating temperature, >> Memory function malfunction: HAC-114, "Inspection procedure", >> Blower motor system malfunction: HAC-68, "Diagnosis Procedure".
Press the MODE switch DEF switch, check that the air outlets change according to each indicated air outlet by placing a hand front, confirm that the compressor clutch is engaged (sound or visual inspection) and the intake door position, >> Mode door system malfunction: HAC-61, "Diagnosis Procedure".
The UPPER VENT switch indicator turned ON, >> Upper ventilator door system malfunction: HAC-66, "Diagnosis Procedure", >> Intake door system malfunction: HAC-64, "Diagnosis Procedure", the A/C switch indicator turned ON.
Confirm that the compressor clutch engages (sound visual inspection), >> Magnet clutch system malfunction: HAC-72, "Diagnosis Procedure", >> Insufficient cooling: HAC-106, "Inspection procedure", operate the temperature control switch (driver side) and raise the temperature setting 32°C (90°F) after.
>> Insufficient heating: HAC-109, "Inspection procedure", press the DUAL switch, and then check that DUAL” is shown display, operate the temperature control switch (driver side), >> Refer to HAC-105, "Diagnosis Chart By Symptom" and perform appropriate diagnosis.
Press the AUTO switch, and then check that AUTO” is shown display, if the temperature felt by the customer is different than the air flow temperature controlled by temperature, setting, the auto amplifier control temperature can be adjusted to compensate temperature setting, using CONSULT-III, perform TEMP SET CORRECT” on WORK SUPPORT” HVAC.
When the temperature setting is set to 25, when the battery cable is disconnected from the negative terminal or when the battery voltage becomes 10V or less, setting, difference between the temperature setting and control temperature may be cancelled.
