Clutch Master Cylinder (With clutch damper)8, recommended fluid is brake fluid DOT 3, be careful not to splash brake fluid painted areas, when removing and installing clutch piping, use suitable tool.

Use new brake fluid to clean or wash all parts master, cylinder, operating cylinder clutch damper, never use mineral oils such as gasoline kerosene, will ruin the rubber parts hydraulic system.

After cleaning the clutch disc, wipe it with dust collector, the actual shapes of Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of special service tools illustrated here, installing clutch cover clutch disc, adjusting unevenness of clutch cover diaphragm spring.

RELEASE BEARING (Worn, dirty damaged), dIAPHRAGM SPRING (Out tip alignment), cLUTCH DISC (Lack spline grease), cLUTCH PEDAL (Free play out adjustment).

NOISE, VIBRATION AND HARSHNESS (NVH) TROUBLESHOOTING, use the chart below to help you find the cause of the symptom, adjust pedal height with pedal stopper bolt ASCD clutch, adjust pedal free play by turning master cylinder push rod.

Pedal free play, measured at pedal pad includes following, free play due to clevis pin and clevis pin hole, push rod, make sure that clevis pin can rotate smoothly, if not, readjust pedal free play with master cylinder push rod.

Adjust clearance ''C'' shown in the figure while fully depress- GI, bleed air according following procedure, clutch Master Cylinder (With clutch damper), use a screwdriver to remove stopper ring while pushing push.

When installing stopper ring, tap in lightly while pushing push, check the following items, replace necessary, rubbing surface of cylinder and piston, uneven wear, rust, piston with piston cup, wear damage.

Dust cover, for cracks, deformation damage, install release bearing with suitable drift, install retainer spring holder spring, release bearing, to see that it rolls freely free.

Release sleeve and withdrawal lever rubbing surface wear, apply recommended grease to contact surface rubbing, too much lubricant might damage clutch disc facing, apply recommended sealant to contact surface transmission.

Case dust cover and withdrawal lever, then install dust cover BR, recommended sealant: Nissan genuine part KP115-00100, three Bond Loctite Part No, cLUTCH DISC AND CLUTCH COVER.

Clutch disc, for burns, discoloration and oil grease leakage, wear limit of facing surface rivet head, clutch disc, for backlash of spline runout facing, maximum backlash of spline (at outer edge disc).

Distance of runout check point (from hub center), apply recommended grease to contact surface splines, too much lubricant may damage clutch disc facing, check clutch cover installed on vehicle uneven diaphragm FE.

If out of limit, adjust height using Tool, do not allow any magnetic materials to contact ring gear TF, inspect contact surface of flywheel for slight burns or discoloration.
