Manual DescriptionSounds may be heard due to regenerative braking when the brake pedal is depressed or as the accelerator pedal is released. The flow of energy is indicated by the movement of the arrows on the multi-information display. Do not pump the brake pedal repeatedly as this will increase the effort required to slow the vehicle.
The vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode maintains the preset cruising speed as long as no vehicle is detected ahead. Use the dynamic radar cruise control with full-speed range on freeways and highways. Your vehicle will also resume follow-up cruising if the accelerator pedal is depressed after the vehicle ahead of you starts off.
The vehicle's response to the driver's acceleration behavior and shift operations are also conveyed in sound. Commands relating to operation of the audio/visual and air conditioning systems can only be performed when the audio and air conditioning systems are turned on.
