Do not pump the brake pedal repeatedly as this will increase the effort required to slow the vehicle. Changing the shift range enables the level of engine braking force to be selected. The shift range can then be selected by operating the -” and +” paddle shift switches.
The vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode maintains the preset cruising speed as long as no vehicle is detected ahead.
