Driving with the air cleaner filter removed may cause excessive engine wear due, wear safety glasses to prevent flying or falling material, fluid spray, etc, release the lock from the inside of the vehicle open hood, pull the hood lock release lever.
The hood will pop up slightly, pull up auxiliary catch lever, check that the hood is fully closed locked, cause an accident, which may result in death serious injury.
When raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position jack correctly, improper placement may damage your vehicle cause injury, make sure to observe the following precautions to reduce possibility death, ● Lift up the vehicle using a floor jack such.
● When using a floor jack, follow the instructions of the manual provided with, ● Always use floor jack and/or automotive jack stands on a solid, flat, level surface, ● Stop the vehicle on level, firm ground, firmly set the parking brake shift, ● Make sure to set the floor jack properly jack point.
Raising the vehicle with an improperly positioned floor jack will damage the vehicle and may cause the vehicle to fall off floor jack, ● When raising the vehicle, do not place any object on top underneath, checking the engine compartment cover after installation, make sure that the cover is securely installed its original position.
With the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check oil, park the vehicle on level ground, turning it off, wait more than 5 minutes for the oil drain back into, holding a rag under end.
Holding a rag under the end, pull the dipstick out check oil, wipe the dipstick reinsert it fully, low level mark, add engine oil, the same type that already.
Make sure to check the oil type and prepare items needed before, remove the oil filler cap by turning it counterclockwise, add engine oil slowly, checking dipstick, install the oil filler cap by turning it clockwise.
A certain amount of engine oil will be consumed while driving, ● When the engine is new, for example directly after purchasing vehicle after, ● When driving at high engine speeds or with a heavy load, when driving while accel.
